Thirty Photos in Thirty Days?

Meditation on a Snowy Night
Meditation on a Snowy Night

.
Two friends on Twitter recently got my attention with their project of doing thirty small paintings in thirty days. The are quick paintings, finished and posted every day. I said I wished I could join their project with thirty photos, but I have such a busy month ahead of me that I didn’t think I’d be able to post every day. I’ve decided to give it a whirl anyway, but I expect to fall behind and take more than thirty days. Still, it gets the ideas flowing. Here’s today’s photo.

Lynda Bruce is posting her paintings on her blog, where she has also been posting some gorgeous photographs taken by René de Carufel in Guatemala.

Hilda Oomen is posting her paintings on Etsy. Today, she did a hydrangea still life. A link to her other work is at the bottom of the listing.

If you’d like to take part and do a photo, painting, poem or flash story a day for thirty days, leave your link in a comment.

Hi Chris….Not sure I can manage 30 photos in 30 days, but I’d like to have a go at it. Sign me up! http://www.melangedmagic.com

Hi Evelyn, I won’t be able to do 30 in 30 either. May have to miss a few days and then catch up. No matter! Glad to hear you are having a go at it too. Your photos are lovely!

I think I will give it a whirl! Love how you’ve expanded the medium…won’t quite be thirty photos, I’m sure, but this is definitely a needed creativity boost!

  3. I can add this to the day. When are you (we) starting officially? How many are involved?

      Hi V.
Some people are already on their fifth day, while others are beginning tomorrow. Feel free to jump in anytime! The ones that I am linking to in my blog number about seven now, with more talking about joining.
