The creative spark for this came to me from visual artists Lynda Bruce and Hilda Oomen, who challenged each other. Hilda says the idea came to her from Leslie Saeta, host of the website Artists Helping Artists, where she invites artists to join her in her own project to create 30 paintings in 30 days. Searching the hashtag #30in30 on Twitter, I discovered that people have been using the idea to spur the creativity in all sorts of ways, creating not only photos and paintings, but blog posts, poems, videos and more.

That’s a beautiful & inspiring step into the new year, these 30 days of shared creativity. I would like to join – i’m experimenting with video in january, and with the one or other visual, catching some moment of (almost) each day. would that be okay to join? here are the entries so far: january videos + visuals along the journey
Wonderful! Really looking forward to see what you capture in your video moments. Thanks for joining us.
Lovely shadows!
Beautiful blog … beautiful photographs …
30in30 does seem to be quite a broad project covering many disciplines – I’m feeling a sense of shared enthusiasm & drive – something I was lacking as a working artist in a small town with few peers.
What a great way to start the new year.
super images, nice capture. Glad to be along for this ride; the juices are beginning to trickle!
Those are gorgeous shadows! – shadows falling on light falling on shadows – enchanting.
