Happy Anniversary, dVerse Poets!

.

From my last week’s Twitter postings, a bevy of  haiku in celebration of dVerse Poets first year anniversary:

rare beauty of summer / dawn’s light through open curtains / worth the lost hours of sleep //

nature’s summer bounty / leave the night curtains open / fall asleep by the fireflies’ wink //

scent of fresh laundry / kissed with dew/  day’s last light //

silhouette at dusk / rappelling a high stone wall / spider //

wind whips the trees / green thunderheads roll in / suddenly all is still //

wind whips the trees sideways / rain finally starts / skies the colour of evil //

Here’s to another year of poems, poetics and fun with the dVerse team!
